The Art of Advent: Day 11
Today is, yep - you guessed it - a recommendation! Today we’re suggesting a series on Youtube that is perfect for watching on an evening with a cheeky festive drink (or two). Cocktails with a Curator is a series of short videos by New York’s Frick Collection where a curator remotely discusses a work of art within the collection. Get some insights to the wonderful art on display at The Frick all whilst sipping on a cocktail of your choosing - we’ve included a recipe for a delicious festive drink that you can try and shake up in the kitchen to celebrate handing in your final deadline of the semester! Be sure to send us a photo on Instagram or Facebook if you try it!

Mrs Claus’ Party Punch
Ingredients:
Bunch of grapes
1 bottle of prosecco
1 litre of cloudy apple juice
250 ml sloe gin (or your favourite gin)
50ml Jagermeister
1 inch stem ginger, finely grated
3-4 springs of rosemary (to make it fancy)
1 orange, finely sliced
Method:
Pop the grapes in the freezer a decent amount of time before you plan to serve your punch. Chill the prosecco and apple juice in the fridge in the meantime.
In a large punch bowl (enough to hold 2-3 litres of liquid) put the frozen grapes and a large handful of ice. Add the bottle of prosecco, apple juice, Jagermeister and mix.
Add all of the other ingredients and give it all a good stir together.
Then you’re ready to serve! Make sure you remember to add ice as it sits to keep it nice and chilled.
